Position #1: Lead Climber Starting
- Pay: $35+/hour — commensurate with experience
- Employment Type: Full-Time (32–40+ hours per week main season, 24 hours wintertime)
- Pay Structure: W2, paid biweekly. 8-hour daily minimum pay guarantee.
- Overtime (1.5x) is paid for any hours exceeding 10 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical climbing operations for pruning, removals, and rigging.
- Oversee jobsite safety, crew coordination, and efficient workflow.
- Perform advanced rigging, cutting, and aerial work using DdRT, SRT, and MRS systems.
- Evaluate tree health, structural stability, and site conditions.
- Mentor and assist less-experienced climbers and ground crew members.
- Ensure all safety and ANSI A300/ISA standards are followed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of professional climbing experience.
- Proficient in modern climbing and rigging techniques (DdRT/SRT/MRS).
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
- ISA Certified Arborist, CTSP, or TCIA credentials are highly preferred.
Position #2: Secondary Climber Starting
- Pay: $30/hour — based on experience and performance
- Employment Type: Full-Time (32–40+ hours per week main season, 24 hours wintertime)
- Pay Structure: W2, paid biweekly. 8-hour daily minimum pay guarantee.
- Overtime (1.5x) is paid for any hours exceeding 10 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform climbing and bucket work for tree pruning and removals.
- Assist the lead climber with rigging, cutting, and equipment operation.
- Support ground operations, including chipping, raking, and site cleanup.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
- Uphold safety procedures and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of professional climbing experience.
- Familiar with standard climbing and rigging systems.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in variable weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (CDL a plus).
- ISA or TCIA credentials preferred but not required.
